Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook launched in India

Dell has launched the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook in India. (Click to enlarge images)







Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 533MHz FSB with an Intel US15W chipset, 1GB DDR2 533MHz memory and 80GB 4200RPM hard disk drive.







Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook weighs only 1.24 kg and is 0.92 inch thick. It has a 12.1 inch WXGA display. It also has features such as WiFi (802.11b/g) LAN connectivity and a 1.3 megapixel webcam with Bluetooth.







Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook runs on Windows XP Home edition. Its 3-cell battery will last for around 3 hours, and there is an optional 6-cell battery which gives around 6.5 hours.



The Mini 12 will be available by the end of January 2009 at select Croma Stores in India for Rs. 31,000.
